Imam Ousmane Drame

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al Ma’ruf (Islamic monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful.” (Quran 3:104)

A scholar of Islam, Ousmane Drame is the Imam of Masjid Al Farooq in Chicago, Illinois. He is also the Executive Director of Mali Relief, a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian aid to the poor in Mali and its surrounding countries. Imam Ousmane’s success stems from his ability to deliver the Khutbah (Sermon) in Arabic, English, French and his native African language. Additionally, Imam Ousmane has delivered countless lectures on Islam at various conferences and community events throughout Chicagoland and the U.S.
